The mission of the Riverdale School Foundation is to cultivate and ensure educational excellence. To do that, the Foundation strives to augment funding sources in order to provide our children an exceptional Riverdale education.
The initiatives that we raise funs for each year illustrate the difference in a publicly funded education, and the education Riverdale School District is able to provide your student(s) with money raised during the Annual Campaign. Put simply, without Annual Campaign dollars, the district would not be able to afford to educate our students at the level we currently maintain and all value.
The Riverdale Foundation values community input and actively seeks to engage with community members to learn what aspects of Riverdale Education you most value and desire. It is our goal to identify and invest in new opportunities to improve the quality of education for all.
Our goal this year is to raise $1.2 million for Riverdale. We hope resident and transfer families will contribute $4,000 per child and that tuition families will contribute $750 per child. We hope community members without children in the schools will donate $1,500. Families who meet suggested levels and donate an additional $1,000 per family will be recognized with an asterisk (*) signifying "extra mile" status on the donor list.
100% participation is our goal. If we all participate, we will achieve our goals together.
To maximize Riverdale’s potential, we need every family to participate at a level that is meaningful to them. Foundation contributions help fund so many of the things we treasure about Riverdale. Your donation supports small class sizes, art, music, electives, technology, student wellness, financial aid, college counseling, athletic,s and so much more.
